Sometimes, when your fitness journey gets hard, you’ll look at the mirror and beat yourself up over how far you let things get out of hand. You might feel discouraged, sad, or really, really mad at yourself.

When you catch yourself getting down look at yourself in the mirror and remind yourself that this will actually be one of the last days you’ll be this unhealthy or out of shape. Each day you’ll be a little fitter and a little healthier than the day before. Realizing that you have the power to change, that you can change, and that you ARE changing can make the biggest of differences.

You don’t have to stay stagnant. You deserve health and the life you want. You’ve got this!

That quote hit me like a ton of bricks. Squishy loves all kinds of foods now but it’s unreasonable for me to expect that to keep up if hubby and I dont continue to change our way of living. Super powerful and something to remember.

Success!

Up this morning at 4. Pumped milk for the baby then headed to the gym. 30 min elliptical, 27 minutes bike, and then my first time strengthening since before I got pregnant. (Leg strength took a dive but my arms are about the same).

Showered, dressed for the day, and did my makeup for the day. Was home and totally ready for the day by 7:30. It felt great. Now I just need to remember this feeling the next time I don’t want to workout in the morning.

I also tried my first quest bar. It was chocolate chunk and pretty good. Tasted like a really compacted brownie

Fitbit stats from yesterday. Had an awesome morning hike before the temp hot 106.  Cranked out a ton of stairs as you can see!  Also had a delicious frosty. No regrets. 

It was still a weight loss day!

Currently at the gym biking.  It’s going to be a great day.
